The homeowners on this project knew exactly what they were looking to have done. The footprint for their new steam shower installation was already in place in their plans from the size and shape of the shower bench to the selection of tiles to be installed. The original foot print of this bathroom was the typical tub/shower combo of a shower attached to a raised framed in and tiled platform bathtub inserted. The space is limited, however we were able to expand the shower by getting rid of the large framed in tub and replacing it with a stand alone soaking tub. The porcelain tile installation extended past the shower into the bathroom on 2 walls floor to ceiling with a recessed shelf behind the new soaking tub.
