BATHROOM-SHOWER-KITCHEN-FLOOR TILE INSTALLATION Denver, CO
Action Shower Pan is a shower and bathroom, installation contractor.
We have 40 years of tile installation experience. For new home construction and residential remodeling projects.
Only trusted tile installation materials are applied to your remodeling needs. This includes the correct preparation for the surfaces that will be tiled because most installation failures are due to incorrect underlayment for the installation. We don't want that!
OUR INSTALLATION SERVICES INCLUDE:
FLOOR TILE INSTALLATION - We begin by removing the existing floor covering. Don't worry we haul away the demo. And proceed to determine the correct underlayment for the project at hand. There are a couple of aspects that determine what will be used. For example, is the floor on slab or wood? Is it in a continual wet area? What type of tile will be used for the floor tile installation? Will it be a heated floor? Should self-leveling cement be used? That's a lot of information to figure out, don't worry. We only use top-notch tile setting materials and floor underlayments. WE WANT YOUR TILE INSTALLATION to last without tiles cracking or grout popping out of their joints. That's just plain BAD
KITCHEN TILE INSTALLATION - When the job involves a kitchen backsplash our tile installer will make sure to lay out the tile first in order to accomplish - A. The most appealing look and B. To make sure that the back splash layout meets with your approval. Most tiles sold today will work for your kitchen splash.
BATHROOM-SHOWER TILE INSTALLATION - The same thorough preparation used for floor and kitchen tile installations are used with additional consideration toward wet area usage such as a showers or tubs. Although it is not necessary to waterproof these surfaces as is done when waterproofing a steam shower we make sure that all wall seams are waterproofed with Kerdi-band. The tile backer board is always installed and meets ANSI standards for bathroom and shower installations.

Remodel work begins with removing the old shower tile to the studs.
Next the terrazo shower pan is removed to the sub-floor.
The shower drain will be moved and centered along the back wall and will feature an in-line shower drain by Schluter.
The new shower pan will be cement poured (mud packed) in place. And the tile installed will run through to the rest of the bathroom floor.

This bathroom remodel features frameless style glass doors and no shower curb that gives the appearance of space in this small bathroom design.
Did you notice, where's the shower drain?
The shower drain is there, it's a Schluter linear drain that is tileable and helps in making this space feel big.
Good choice for these homeowners who were looking to update this small master bathroom without changing the footprint of the bathroom.
BATHROOM TILE INSTALLATION SHOWER & FLOOR
This was a fun project to work on, not only because of the tile selection that I was installing but because of the family that I was working with. They really had a challenge on their hands. This very small bathroom is the master bathroom and there was nowhere to expand and enlarge. To their credit and within their budget I suggested a curbless shower. This would give the illusion of space and actually be functional without a shower curb to step over.
The tile selection was 100% homeowner's decision and I think it was a great choice! For the shower walls they chose to go with porcelain tile (from DalTile) and as a feature wall, they decided on glass tile (from Floor & Decor), with a recessed shampoo niche and 2 glass shelves to hold their bottles.
Their choice of floor tile is a porcelain wood plank tile also from Floor & Decor. What made this really work was the fact that we installed a Schluter Linear shower drain that was tiled over. Look at the shower pan and if you didn't notice it there appears to be no drain. What a great look! The transition from the bathroom entry into the shower is seamless without the curb and drain. That is a great illusion of expansive space and fully functional in this small space!
